Bronson Won, Sox Lost

Red Sox vs. Reds today! The one I'd been waiting for. Let's recap.

He pitched pretty great today, and I'm glad he did. 3 hits, 0 runs, 1 walk. It's never good to see the Sox lose, but today, I didn't mind as much.

Youk pulled off a diving catch at first, so of course the crowd chanted his name. Always reminds me of when he thought they were booing him, and someone had to inform him that they were actually yelling "Youk."

Wakefield did a good job today, the only run he gave up was a single homerun. The Reds went on to score 3 more runs, for a final of 4-0.

An MLB press conference about investigating steroid usage interrupted the game. Thought I could get out of it by watching MLB.TV, but no. I'd like to know what will happen if anyone gets caught, but beyond that, I really don't care.

The Red Sox vs. Rangers game on Monday means the Red Sox regular season begins! It'll be on ESPN2 and Schilling will be the pitcher. I am looking ahead a bit, as there are a few more ST games yet to be played, but I'm pretty excited. Schilling better pitch great, or you know Wells will be thinking that he could have done better.
