Another Day, Another Win

Bases loaded for the Gonz. Yeah, he did nothing. Again. I'm pretty sure he's 1 for 5 now with bases loaded. I think I remember him getting a single with one out, then nobody else contributed to the scoring effort. So many men left on base, every game!

Ortiz hit a double, then Manny hit one to send him home. That was Ramirez's first extra base hit of the season (!?), and it just so happened to put the Sox in the lead.

Again, Manny got some RBIs, hitting a hard shot to right field to score Loretta and Ortiz. Manny just might be back.

And Kevin Youkilis decided to win the game with a 2-RBI shot off the wall. Though another run did score after that, Youk's hit broke a tie and gave Timlin the win, despite the fact that he gave up some runs.

And Papelbon can thank Adam Stern for saving him when Stern made a great catch to end the game with bases loaded.
