David Ortiz!

Good news out of Boston - reportedly, Ortiz is close to signing a 4-year, $50 million deal. We can all breathe a sigh of relief that he won't be wearing pinstripes in the future.

Two more days. Two more days.

Game today at 1 with Minor Leaguer David Pauley taking the mound for us. It's against the Phillies, and I wish it was Monday.

Also, looks like Tavarez won't be appealing his suspension and will start the season suspended.

Not much else going on. I, however, will be in Baltimore next weekend to see a couple Red Sox games!
