Oh. My. WHAT?

That score reads 15-3, but can it be? Did a Josh Beckett game just go down like that? Did Beckett give up a grand slam in the first inning? Did he only last 3 2/3 innings? He gave up 8 earned runs?

What happened?

8 Red Sox players had zero hits. That list includes Youkilis, Ramirez, Nixon, and Loretta. PENA and CORA had hits. MANNY didn't. Wait, Pena and Cora had TWO HITS EACH. MANNY = ZERO. That isn't right!

Defense was awful. Loretta missed a popup, Cora threw an easy ball away.

At least Craig Hansen is doing well. He moved up to Pawtucket yesterday from Portland. Something to be happy about. And I won my tennis match. And The Office was finally new. But when it comes to that game, I offer you nothing to be cheery about. And I doubt you care that I won my game.

I have no answers for this one. Let's just forget this game ever happened. Too bad we can't erase it from the loss column.
