One Bad Inning

2nd inning. Sox have bases loaded. No outs. It's getting exciting. Next thing you know, THREE OUTS IN A ROW. And you know the Mariners won 3-0, getting all three runs in one inning out of 9 that Tim Wakefield pitched. One bad inning, and your record goes to 1-2. Not good.

Now for the good news! Picture it. Bottom of the 9th, Yankees leading the Twins by one, Rivera is pitching. I just so happened to start paying attention to that game with one man on and thought, oh yes this is going to happen. And so it did, and Rivera has a record of 0-1 with a blown save. Love it.

Happy Easter if that's your thing. Enjoy the game at 2!
