Pitchers and Tomorrow
Yesterday, I realized that the #2 pitcher was Wakefield, not Beckett. Okay, seniority or whatnot, but I didn't want to see a Wakefield game this weekend because I saw one last year. Then I found out they don't play Thursday, so we now have:
Monday: Schilling
Tuesday: Wakefield
Wednesday: Beckett
Friday: Wells
Saturday: Clement
Sunday: Schilling
I will be at the weekend games, and I'm so excited to see Schilling pitch. I still wish the #5 guy could have been Arroyo, but you can't win 'em all. I wanted to see Beckett, but Clement will still be a fun guy to watch. Oh, who cares, I'm just so excited to be going!
Tomorrow is Opening Day. If you have to work and won't be home at 2, tape it. The first game of the season. Finally.
Oh, and the Yankees are once again saying they should win it this year, or else huge disappointment will ensue. Don't they say this every year? And then lose? May they never win again.
