But It Was Close This Time
The game started with Manny and Trot homeruns, and continued with a Wily Mo sac fly and a Youkilis RBI double. So then Ramon Hernandez hit a solo homerun, and Brandon Fahey hit a 2-run HR. Sox still up 4-3. Next thing you know, Jay Gibbons hit a 2-run shot and we're down 5-4. However, Loretta singled in Nixon and Ortiz singled in Youk, so the Sox were back on top, 6-5. That's all the scoring that went on, and the Red Sox continued their undefeated-against-the-Orioles season.I'll be at the game tonight (!) and it's the last time the Sox will be down here until September. Oh, and I forgot to mention before that right as you near Camden Yards, there's a billboard with Kevin Millar on it. I have to get a picture of it this time, as I found it amusing that he gets a billboard his first year as an Oriole, beating out many longtime Os. Love it.
Texas was beating the Yankees 9-0 by the second inning. NY was winning a few innings later, 11-10, then it was tied 12-12. NY won it in the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs. No words.
