Keith Foulke is Lucky He Has a Good Team
Johnny Damon RBI single. Whatev. Hope he enjoyed it because the Yankees lost 9-5. Keith Foulke gave up 2 homeruns and two doubles in the 9th. It's a good thing he had such a huge lead (it was 9-1 when he came in the game), because he was pretty bad.
After Damon's run...David Ortiz 2-RBI single!
Manny Ramirez 2-run homerun!
A new Yankee was called up to pitch last night in the 8th, named Colter Bean. And it went: Walk, Mike Lowell with ANOTHER double (even though he was kind of out at second), sac fly, RBI single (from Cora!), double play.
Curt Schilling pitched a fantastic game, throwing 8 innings and giving up just one run. He had some great stuff and didn't struggle at all. In his 8 innings, he only let the leadoff runner get on twice, then got them out on double plays.
Did you know that the Yankees cannot: wear jeans on flights, listen to music in the clubhouse, have hair below the neck, or bring golf clubs on a road trip. I didn't know about any of that (except the hair) and that is a little bit insane.Bronson Arroyo took care of the Brewers, pitching 7 innings and allowing 1 run. I think I used to like the Brewers a little. Eh.
The Red Sox will be on ESPN Wednesday night, and ESPN2 on Thursday night. Finally, some Red Sox coverage instead of teams I already get around here.
