Plenty of Information

About the Gonz (from MLB.com): When the Sox were in Detroit, Curt Schilling walked by the television when he heard an ESPN commentator talking about how the Red Sox are looking for a shortstop. Schilling said, "We need a shortstop? Our shortstop is going to win the Gold Glove!" Alex Gonzalez may not be swinging the bat as well as others, but he leads the AL in fielding percentage (.995) and has only committed one error. I say everyone who wants to get rid of the Gonz needs to shut it, because Gonzalez has improved Boston's defense immensely and that is the reason why he was brought there.

The AL Player of the Month for May has a .143 BA, 0 homeruns, 4 hits, and 1 RBI this month. Do you know who he is?

Pauley has been optioned to Pawtucket, and Gabe Kapler will be going there too. Kapler is moving on up, which is such good news. I can't wait to see him back in a Red Sox jersey.

Schilling goes for win #10 tonight, and will be opposed by Johan Santana of the Twins. Santana has a 6-4 record with a 3.16 ERA.

Oh, and the PotM for May who is having a terrible June? That'd be Alex Rodriguez.
