Beckett Makes it 13

First run of the game: The Gonz hit a solo HR. So when Manny was up with Youkilis and Loretta on, I was in the mood for some more RBIs. So I said Ramirez would have one RBI and my cat said Manny was going to hit a HR (okay maybe my cat can't talk). Anyway, Manny did hit a long one and I owe my cat $50.

So then, I asked my cat, "Do you think Ortiz is gonna hit a home run, too?" and as soon as the words were out of my mouth, I saw 'In play, run-scoring play' on Gameday. I need to hone my psychic abilities for cash.

Craig Hansen came in in the 7th and loaded the bases. The score was 7-3 before he came in, and... it was still 7-3 at the end of the inning. Good save.

Timlin worked his way though the 8th, and it was my great pleasure to see Papelbon come in for the 9th. And it went strikeout, strikeout, strikeout. All hail King Papelbon!
