A Grand Papi
Last night, they finally took a game from Tampa Bay. And they did it in pretty sweet form.
Ramirez started off the night with a 2-run shot, and Ortiz had 2 homeruns, one of which was a grand slam. It's always a beautiful sight when David Ortiz hits a HR, but a grand slam is just the best. Even Mirabelli got in on the homerun action. The Gonz hit his first triple in 2 years, along with a double to gather 2 RBIs.
And this exchange that I've taken from MLB.com is another reason why you just have to love Ortiz:
After yet another monster night, David Ortiz, fresh out of the shower, looked to the chair next to him and saw a stack of $20 bills.

"Is that my money?" Ortiz, a little confused, asked multiple times.
Coco Crisp finally came over and solved the mystery, grabbing the stack of bills and putting them in his wallet. Ortiz then busted out laughing and told reporters, "You know how I knew that wasn't my money?"
He then opened a container filled with $100 bills and bellowed out, "This is how I roll!"
In former-Red-Sox news, Pedro Martinez has been placed on the DL with a sore hip.
And Jon Lester will be pitching tonight against Mark Buehrle of the White Sox. Buehrle is 9-5 with a 3.86 ERA, and I hope that ERA rises after this evening.
