This All-Star Game Better be Good

So Ortiz didn't win the Home Run Derby last night, but he did make it to the second round. He only hit 3 HRs in that round, which wasn't very good, but we did get some good pictures out of the deal.

Here's Ortiz after hitting one of his 13 HRs:

And here are people reacting to one of his homeruns. They sure do look like they're in awe, it must have been one of the ones that went into the water.

Papelbon enjoying his 1st (of many) trips to the All-Star game:

Here's Ortiz looking like his regular self:

And the old boy Nomar made it to the game in a fan vote:

Looks like Papelbon probably won't be pitching in tonight's game. From the Globe: Red Sox rookie closer Jonathan Papelbon, who threw more pitches (52) in back-to-back games last weekend than on any other occasion this season, including the three times he has pitched three games in a row, said he doesn't expect to pitch tonight.
Guillen had this to say: "I told him, `The only way I will pitch you is if we go 19 innings and we don't have anyone else.'"

So it's not looking good for Papelbon. But watch the game tonight at 8 ET anyway, because you don't want to miss Ortiz and Loretta, who are both in the starting lineup for the AL.
