3000th Strikeout But No Win

If you looked to Curt Schilling in these desperate times and hoped he could turn things around...well, you were wrong.

Schilling allowed 6 earned runs in a 7-2 loss, which effectively completed the sweep. The pitcher they obtained from the Reds was not the Reds pitcher I was hoping for, instead it was Mike Burns. He allowed a run in an inning of work. Take a look at this fantasy comparison:
Jon Papelbon - 1409
Mike Burns - -49.5

A NEGATIVE number! I didn't even know that was possible!

At least it's back to Fenway today. If nothing else, it means no more 10:05 games.

It's being reported that Jon Lester has been tested for cancer due to enlarged lymph nodes. Every day it's more bad news.

I think I'll add a comment section to the website today. Maybe in some strange way it'll bring the Sox some good luck. I know, I know...
