#54 tonight, folks!

Gonz was scratched from the lineup due to "personal reasons." What? The Gonz so better be okay.

Hinske had a great offensive AND defensive game, since I commented on Peter's blog how I wasn't too impressed with him thus far. Maybe I should say how much everyone disappoints me and then we'll win like 16-0.

So then Alex Cora hits a triple. Where was that when it mattered? Then the bases were loaded for Big Papi with 2 outs and he knocked one into left field for 2 runs.

Schilling pitched 7 solid innings and only gave up one run. Foulke came in and pitched an easy 8th and Timlin got through the 9th. A win! Yay! And Toronto lost, so we're back in 2nd place.

Randomness:
I think Manny wants out because he's jealous of all the attention Ortiz gets. And really, who wouldn't be?

Coco and Clement had surgery today. Crisp will definitely be better next year when his finger isn't busted, but Clement? Who knows.
