Fifty-One Homeruns, Check
David Ortiz. First at bat. First pitch. 51st home run.
Everyone was on their feet, including all the Boston players. And Ortiz got a hug and a huge smile from every single one of them.
I was watching with my mom and when Loretta grounded out, I told her to get on her feet because it was coming. I didn't expect it to come right then, but I'm glad it did, because now I can watch the Office and Grey's Anatomy with no fear of missing it!
The man then hit #52 in the 7th inning. I am quite positive I was watching it and saw him come to the plate and then I switched to watch a show and missed it. By about 3 seconds. I have the worst timing ever.
