The Cards Go Up Again

As soon as the Cardinals scored one run, it was over. The Tigers got blanked last night, 5-0. Zumaya, the Tigers pitcher I wanted for Boston, had a rough night. It was 2-0 Cards when the ball was hit back to him and instead of throwing to second to start the double play, he threw it to 3rd to a third baseman who wasn't there. 2 more runs scored. Bad. Tim McCarver kindly told us that the 1-5-3 DP has not been done since 1923. That makes it Really Bad.

Game 4 goes down tonight with St. Louis up 2-1.

Man, I wish there was news coming out of Boston.
