The Mets lost tonight, which puts them down 2 games to 1. They better win, because they are screwing up my Mets vs. Tigers championship!
The Tigers continued their dominance by completing a sweep of the A's this evening. Could the Tigers really win the whole thing for the first time since 1984? It's looking more and more likely with every game.
Man, I wish the Sox were in it. All those fans in Detroit celebrating their team's win...I'm jealous.
In old news, John Farrell (currently part of Cleveland's farm system) just might be Boston's new pitching coach. Whoever the new pitching coach turns out to be, I just hope Theo manages to get him some talent to work with. Because Schilling and Beckett alone are not enough to carry the team. And I have a whole season's worth of evidence to back that up.
