Go Detroit!

The playoffs begin today. Breaking it down:
Oakland vs. Minnesota 1 pm
St. Louis vs. San Diego 4 pm
Detroit vs. New York Yankees 8 pm
Los Angeles Dodgers vs. New York Mets (Wed.) 4 pm

I will be sending positive thoughts to the Tigers. I'm rooting for the Twins, the Padres, the Tigers, and the Dodgers. I want to cheer for the Mets, but the Dodgers have all the former Sox, including the lovely and still injured Bill Mueller.

The Eagles won last night! Big help from Brett Favre, who threw a lot of interceptions in a short time period. I love Green Bay, but I love the Eagles and McNabb more. Never fear, the Patriots are of course my #1 team. Philadelphia was actually playing pretty pathetically until the second half, when they broke away and the Eagles offense actually decided to run the ball instead of making McNabb do it all.

Story of the Day:
My brother was watching MNF with my mom and when ESPN showed the commentators, he asked who the guy in the middle was. My mom replied, "That's Tony Kornheiser. Laura's in love with him."
