SO Impressive
Josh Beckett is the new MVP of the world.
He retired 19 batters in a row, only allowed 4 hits over 9 innings, threw 83 strikes in 108 pitches, and most important of all: the bullpen was not used.
He was just great. Impeccable. Amazing. Exactly what we needed. I cannot stress enough how awesome he was!
Offense was very helpful, with David Ortiz and Kevin Youkilis contributing home runs and Lowell RBI-ing Manny Ramirez.
If this is how they play over the next month....watch out.
