A Good Series, for the Most Part

I have a few free minutes in between classes so I thought I might comment on the recent Boston/NY series. It was very good because Boston won the series, but what I am pained over is the fact that that one game that was lost was lost in the 9th inning, by one run, with Papelbon pitching! Even worse, it was ThumbHead who won the game for NY.

Painful.

However, the Red Sox still won that series and are behind the Rays by a seemingly impossible 4.5 games. The Rays were supposed to be out of this a few months ago, and now I'm wondering if those people ever lose. NY is 10.5 games behind them, which pleases me, and the wild card is still Boston's at the moment...but I don't want the wild card. I want the AL East.

Silly Rays. Someone beat them!
