Sorry Dustin Pedroia, but you are absolutely, unequivocally NOT ALLOWED to have an injury! Reading this--Dustin Pedroia will miss the remainder of the World Baseball Classic with a strained left oblique and will be examined by Red Sox doctors on Sunday--on the redsox.com site has totally ruined my day. And might I add it is my mom's birthday so it has been a very good day so far.

I tend to overreact to things, so I am pretty sure he will be fine and it is just Laura-on-overdrive, but he's my favorite player. I think it's okay to be concerned....even if it is slightly dramatic. Besides, he was the only reason I cared about the WBC. Now what?
