Never Return to Fenway, EVER

So I'm reading this article on mlb.com about Ortiz and how he didn't perform as well as he usually does this October (he is human after all), and I came across this sentence and stopped:

"During the roughest portions of the American League Championship Series, when the Red Sox got pounded in Games 3 and 4, and again in the early stages of Game 5, Ortiz heard the most abnormal thing of all -- some boos from the fans who have adored him for so long."

Are you kidding me? PEOPLE BOOED DAVID ORTIZ??

You idiots better never call yourselves Red Sox fans again.

And that is all I have to say.

Not Good Enough

Well, last night's game didn't exactly go according to plan. Not to worry though, because Josh Beckett is pitching tonight and he will not lose. I don't want to jinx anything, but as long as we win one out of the three games, we'll be in good shape.

The real question is how are Manny and Kielty holding up? Ramirez left early last night due to back spasms and Kielty also left with a back injury. Kielty's x-rays came back okay, and we're still waiting on Manny's status. Hopefully they are both fine!!

And just in case you were questioning why we let Damon go after he hit that HR last night, please be reminded: "It's taken a number of players to replace me," Damon said of the Red Sox. "I'm Johnny [Bleeping] Damon." That is all I think I have to mention on the subject.
